Meet the team

Our people are key to our success.

What is your background?

I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a 2:1 degree in accounting and finance in 2000, and then went straight into employment as a trainee chartered accountants at what was then SWS – since been taken over by CLB Coopers. I qualified as an ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) in 2004, which means I became FCA (Fellow Chartered Accountant) in March 2014.

Which living person do you most admire, and why?

I admire Sebastian Coe – I would love to be have been able to run like he can. Also his role in bringing an amazing Olympics to London was fantastic.

What is your most treasured possession?

A pen my wife gave me on our wedding day.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Assisting a client through a growth phase from £2m to £25m in 3 years and then facilitating the sale for £30m.

How would you like to be remembered?

Honest, loyal and passionate

What is your background?

I have practiced for over 30 years.

Which living person do you most admire, and why?

Rory McIlroy, he’s a great golfer.

Property aside, what’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought?

My first Mercedes.

What would your super power be?

To never miss a putt.

What is your most treasured possession?

A photograph of four generations of “Staffords”.

What is your background?

At 15 years old I began, what is now my career, as an accounts junior at a Horwich accountancy practice. Since then I have worked at a number of local accountancy firms before moving to Gibraltar. Over the seven years I spent in Gibraltar I was employed in various finance industry roles including online gaming, fund administration and insurance management. I relocated back to the UK in November 2013 where I took the opportunity to join the team at Stafford & Co.

What is your favourite word?

Dude.

If you could bring something extinct back to life, what would you choose?

Wooly Mammoth

 What single thing would improve the quality of your life?

Being less scared of flying so I could travel to more exotic places.

Where would you most like to be right now?

Iceland, preferably when the northern lights are visible!

If you could go back in time, where would you go?

To my grandma and grandad’s house when I was a child.

My daughter’s first painting brought home from nursery.

What is your background?

Originally from Birmingham, I moved to Manchester to go to university where I graduated with a degree in Accounting and Finance.

Which living person do you most admire, and why?

Rebecca Adlington – I used to be a swimmer myself, and I admire her determination and efforts it took to get her achievements.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Getting a first class honours degree.

Where would you most like to be right now?

On a hot sunny beach.

What is your background?

I am from the great city of Salford and I went to Walkden High School where I completed my GCSE’s, after that I then went on to complete level 2 AAT at Salford College. I am now doing level 3 AAT while working at Stafford&Co.

What is your earliest memory?

Playing football on waterlogged pitch getting extremely muddy

If you could go back in time, where would you go?

Back to year 6 in primary school

Where would you most like to be right now?

On a boat just off the edge of the Palm in Dubai
